Leeds, 1977.

Red, Green and Blue: The basics of color mixing, and all things colorful and diverse. This is my take on a cricket match captured by my dad in 1977 or so, at Leeds, in the UK.

Why RGB? I think it’s time to take everything back to the basics. Can we just play cricket? It’s not just about our team being hard to handle- it’s also about the investigating authorities keeping a check on themselves.

Pakistan has become so ‘guilty before innocent’ that the dice can be rolled the way people want them to. I’m not a cricket fan. I am however, a Pakistan fan. Speculative investigations lead our sorry diplomats to save their own skins sooner than the nation’s.

This is not about denial; this is acceptance. We have our issues. Who doesn’t? But if you find fault- please prove it, book it, and prosecute it, before you strike pre-emptively and with statements like “This is only the tip of the iceberg”. How about those beautiful democratic values we’ve read and heard about for the last two centuries- why can’t they go both ways?
